Parenting An Athlete

Annette Reiter is presently the Head Coach of Rutgers Univeristy-Camden. She started her coaching career as the girls' basketball varsity assistant and junior varsity coach for her alma mater Gloucester Catholic High School from 1991-1997. She served as the girls' basketball head coach at Glassboro High School from 1997-2000. Reiter was the head coach at Bishop Eustace Prep from 2000-2005. While at Bishop Eustace, the team won the 2002 Parochial B Division State Championship.

In 2005, Reiter took time to watch her children participate in sports but still remained involved with basketball through the Tri-State Tar Heels AAU organization. She served as head coach for the youth club until 2009.

Reiter graduated from Widener University in 1983 with a bachelor's of science in nursing. She is third on the Pride's Basketball all-time scoring list with 1,568 points. Reiter has worked as a visiting nurse for Holy Redeemer Home Care for 27 years. She resides in Sewell, NJ with her husband David, son Brad and two daughters Alyssa and Kristina. Both daughters have competed at the high school, AAU and college level.
